This vintage fine bone china tea set trio was expertly crafted by the renowned Royal Albert. The striking "American Beauty" pattern showcases beautiful large pink roses, accented with elegant gold trimming on the cup and saucers. This trio is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing. Discontinued: 1941 - 1990
Founded in 1896 by Thomas Wild Senior and his son, the Royal Albert company acquired the Albert Works in Longton, England, which was originally built in 1846 and named after Queen Victoria's Consort, Prince Albert. In 1897, the company was honored with a royal warrant and officially adopted the name Royal Albert in 1904. To this day, Royal Albert continues to produce top-quality bone china, making them one of the most reputable and well-known manufacturers in the world.
