This is a limited edition Russian Palekh porcelain collector's plate from 1989.

It is the fifth plate in the "Russian Fairy Tales" series. 
The artwork is by the Palekh artist Nikolai Lopatin, based on Alexander Pushkin's poem "The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish". 
The design uses traditional miniature painting techniques with natural gold. 
It was produced by the Vinogradoff Porcelain Factory and is limited to 195 firing days. 
It has Bradex No. 60-V25-1.5 and is for decorative, not food, use.
